Welcome Back

Good morning and welcome back to the Udisciple Enewsletter.

As many of our university students head back on campus after a lovely winter break, the Udisciple team are excited to finally be able to share the news about the exciting new opportunities for young people in the Archdiocese of Melbourne - in particular, the new JPII House and the upcoming Winter Fiesta.

This week, Archbishop Comensoli will officially open John Paul II House, a cozy new hub for catholic university students right in the heart of the city. The team has been hard at work transforming the house to include a student lounge, an upstairs study/library, a beautiful chapel, a group study area, a kitchenette, and meeting spaces. Grab your friends and your laptop and join us for semester two. JPII House is open from 9:30 am-5:30 pm Monday to Friday at 169 Grattan St.

Mark August 4th in your calendars. It will be the first large-scale youth event in the Archdiocese of Melbourne since ACYF 2019. Check out the details below.

We hope you enjoy the podcast that takes a look at the life and influence of our new patron, Pope Saint John Paul II.

Stay warm,

The Udisciple Team

Stop and Consider the Works of God
Let’s just take a moment to stop and consider the works of the Lord’ (Job 37:14)
To go in a spirit of prayer from one place to another, from one city to another, in the area marked especially by God’s intervention, helps us not only to live our life as a journey but also gives us a vivid sense of a God, who has gone before us and leads us on, who Himself set out on man’s path, a God who does not look down on us from on high but who became our travelling companion.
