Melbourne Pilgrims: On the Move

Good afternoon on this lovely Spring Monday in Melbourne.

We have reached the final week of Semester and it seems that everything is 'on the move'. University students are moving into the exam period and Fr Cam Smith chatted with us on the podcast about his 200km bike ride around Port Philip Bay.

The whole Archdiocese is getting ready to go on pilgrimage to World Youth Day in 2023. Check out this link to the WYD Information Sessions which are happening at six different locations all around the Archdiocese. These key events will provide you with all the information you need to get ready for World Youth Day 2023. The main event will be after Six30 Holy Hour on October 27th, which is also the 125th Anniversary of the opening of St Patrick's Cathedral.

Know of our prayers for all the university students who are getting ready for exams. We also look forward to seeing you at the End of Year Celebration at St Michael's in North Melbourne on November 18.

It is Jesus that you seek when you dream of happiness; He is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you; He is the beauty to which you are so attracted; it is He who provoked you with that thirst for fullness that will not let you settle for compromise; it is He who urges you to shed the masks of a false life; it is He who reads in your hearts your most genuine choices, the choices that others try to stifle.
