About this event

You are invited to the next film in our Melbourne Catholic Cinephiles series, An American in Paris (1951).

Not only a joyous musical that caps off our Easter season with its rousing melodies, beautiful dancing and bright colourful scenes, but this film also offers an interesting meditation on art and love, as well as the effect of money on both.

Gene Kelly at the height of his talents, with the music of George Gershwin, will flood your senses, offering an experience of beauty and joy.

Wednesday, 24th May, 6.45pm.

$20 per ticket ($17 for students).

Location: Lido Cinemas, Hawthorn.

The film is preceded by a 5 minute introduction and is followed by a 10 minute discussion.

Our screenings are great opportunities to meet others, engage in robust discussions about these fantastic films and grow in appreciation for truth, beauty and goodness in its many forms, so we hope you will consider attending.
