Dear Pilgrims

Congratulations on being one of over 500 pilgrims from across the Archdiocese of Melbourne who will journey together over the next four months as we prepare to join the Holy Father and millions of young Catholics from around the world in Lisbon for the celebration of World Youth Day.

With only one week to go, we look forward to seeing you next Sunday at our first Pilgrim Formation Session.

Sunday 30 April - First Pilgrim Gathering and Parent Session

1 pm – 4.30 pm Australian Catholic University

This gathering will be our first opportunity to meet together as a whole pilgrim group. It will be a great chance to meet each other, hear from inspiring speakers, and for us to pass on some important information about our pilgrimage.

Please arrive at ACU’s St Mary of the Cross Square on Brunswick Street Fitzroy. You will be greeted by members of our team.

There is limited street parking and an on-site car park available (entry via Victoria Parade, charge applies). Public transport is readily accessible with several nearby tram and bus services and the nearby Parliament Station is only a 600m walk.

If you haven't already you will soon receive a registration link for our Melbourne Pilgrim Portal. This will be how we will collect from you all the other important information we will need as we head off on pilgrimage.
