Course Facilitators
Fr Nicholas Pearce
Fr Nicholas is both Chaplain of University of Melbourne and RMIT. He has recently obtained a Masters in Psychology and in addition to his work at the University is completing a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counselling and is Senior Chaplain - Youth, Young Adults and Campus Ministry for the Archdiocese of Melbourne. With over 20 years of experience leading youth and young adult programs, Fr Nicholas brings experience and passion and is looking forward to accompanying the community at the University of Melbourne and RMIT in their journey with Christ.
Silvana Scarfe
Silvana works in the area of discipleship formation for young adult and campus ministry leaders within the Archdiocese of Melbourne. Originally a Melburnian, Silvana holds a degree in the Liberal Arts from Campion College, and has completed postgraduate studies in theology from the John Paul II Institute and canon law studies from St Paul University in Ottawa, Canada. Having worked extensively in the Church in various capacities in pro-life, ethics, marriage and family issues, she has previously worked as Research Assistant to Bishop Umbers, Auxiliary Bishop of Sydney. Silvana loves God, has a passion for holistic Christ-centred wellness and enjoys instructing a Pilates class or two.
